This fascinating half-day ride consists of three important attractions: the archeological site of Moray, the small community of Maras, and the Salineras salt mines.
The mountain bike ride begins at the archeological site of Moray, where we will learn about its impressive architecture and native crops. We will then bike down-hill surrounded by the snow-capped mountains of the Andes to the colonial village of Maras. From here, we will continue down-hill to the Salineras salt mines, where we will observe how the salt is produced and collected by hand. Once we have explored Salineras, we will finish the day with a thrilling down-hill ride to the ranch where we will enjoy a fresh snack.
Entrance ticket to the Pichingoto community and Salineras salt mines, snack and drinks, bilingual guide, and round-trip transportation to/from anywhere in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. Please note, the ticket for the Moray archeological complex is not included.
