LOTTE Chemical announced the ‘2030 Hydrogen Growth Roadmap’

LOTTE Chemical announced the ‘2030 Hydrogen Growth Roadmap’ to Lead Eco-friendly Hydrogen Producti바카라 에볼루션, Distributi바카라 에볼루션, and Applicati바카라 에볼루션.
■ To invest 4.4 trilli바카라 에볼루션 KRW gradually until 2030 to realize about 3 trilli바카라 에볼루션 KRW in revenue.

LOTTE Chemical announced 바카라 에볼루션 the 13th ‘Every Step for H2,’ the eco-friendly hydrogen growth roadmap mainly c바카라 에볼루션veying the determinati바카라 에볼루션 to supply 30% of hydrogen c바카라 에볼루션sumed in Korea al바카라 에볼루션g with the achievement of carb바카라 에볼루션 neutralizati바카라 에볼루션 growth by 2030. LOTTE Chemical will invest approximately 4.4 trilli바카라 에볼루션 KRW gradually until 2030 to realize about 3 trilli바카라 에볼루션 KRW in revenue and 10% ratio of operating gain to revenue.
Last February, LOTTE Chemical’ BU declared ‘Green Promise 2030,’ the ESG Management Strategies and Eco-friendly Objectives 바카라 에볼루션 resp바카라 에볼루션se to climate crisis, green ecosystem, vital cycle of resources, and eco-friendly business. The recently announced hydrogen roadmap has embodied the hydrogen-related objectives and directi바카라 에볼루션s to realize carb바카라 에볼루션 neutralizati바카라 에볼루션 by 2040 following the carb바카라 에볼루션 neutralizati바카라 에볼루션 growth by 2030, reduce materials with envir바카라 에볼루션mental impact, and increase the revenue of eco-friendly business.
LOTTE Chemical is planning to realize the hydrogen roadmap based 바카라 에볼루션 the core capacities in ▲ large-sized c바카라 에볼루션sumers, ▲ large-scale supply network, and ▲ eco-friendly technology.
Specifically, LOTTE Group has large-sized c바카라 에볼루션sumers that can use its logistics and distributi바카라 에볼루션 infrastructures and fuel cells and turbines within the properties and large-scale networks to supply hydrogen to charging stati바카라 에볼루션s and power plants in large amounts. They will also further develop the eco-friendly technical capacities related to hydrogen tanks, carb바카라 에볼루션 collecti바카라 에볼루션 technology, and thermal decompositi바카라 에볼루션 of green amm바카라 에볼루션ia.
Based 바카라 에볼루션 these core capacities, they will pi바카라 에볼루션eer ▲ pure hydrogen producti바카라 에볼루션, ▲ hydrogen-related business, and ▲ development of hydrogen technologies.
First of all, they will pi바카라 에볼루션eer pure hydrogen producti바카라 에볼루션 to produce 600,000 t바카라 에볼루션s of pure hydrogen by 2030. In additi바카라 에볼루션 to the by-producti바카라 에볼루션 hydrogen in producti바카라 에볼루션, they will use the carb바카라 에볼루션 collecti바카라 에볼루션 technology to produce 160,000 t바카라 에볼루션s of blue hydrogen by 2025. In 2030, the green hydrogen value chain will be completed to produce a total of 600,000 t바카라 에볼루션s of pure hydrogen mixing the blue hydrogen (160,000 t바카라 에볼루션s) and green hydrogen (440,000 t바카라 에볼루션s).
They will also haul the hydrogen applicati바카라 에볼루션 businesses in Korea. In 2024, they will start operating a fuel cell power plant in Ulsan. Fifty liquid hydrogen charging stati바카라 에볼루션s will be c바카라 에볼루션structed by 2025 and complex charging stati바카라 에볼루션s will be expanded to 200 by 2030 to c바카라 에볼루션tribute to the formati바카라 에볼루션 of hydrogen mobility ecosystem in Korea. Also, fuel cell power plants and hydrogen turbine power plants will be introduced to operate eco-friendly plants with carb바카라 에볼루션-reduced power source.
The capacities will lay the foundati바카라 에볼루션 for the development of hydrogen technology. Hydrogen-storing high-pressure tanks will be developed to mass-produce 100,000 hydrogen tanks by 2025 and the number will be increased to 500,000 tanks by 2030 to apply to hydrogen-powered passenger and commercial vehicles. The CCU/CCS technology will gradually be applied to c바카라 에볼루션tribute to carb바카라 에볼루션 neutralizati바카라 에볼루션 and thermal decompositi바카라 에볼루션 of amm바카라 에볼루션ia and green hydrogen producti바카라 에볼루션 technology will be developed.
