LCI was established in 2016 to construct a petrochemical plant in Indonesia with an ethylene production capacity of 1 million tons and is scheduled to begin commercial production this year. 레고카지노 Chemical plans to raise KRW 650 billion by utilizing 25% of its 49% stake in LCI. The funds will be used to improve its financial structure through debt repayment.
In October last year, 레고카지노 Chemical secured KRW 660 billion by executing a PRS contract using 40% of its stake in LCLA (레고카지노 Chemical Louisiana LLC), a U.S.-based subsidiary for ethylene glycol (EG) production. With the additional funding from LCI shares, the Company has secured a total of KRW 1.3 trillion.
Additionally, in October last year, 레고카지노 Chemical decided to liquidate LUSR, a Malaysian subsidiary for synthetic rubber manufacture, and in February this year, it proceeded with the sale of its Pakistani subsidiary for PTA (purified terephthalic acid), LCPL. These actions align with the Company’s Asset Light strategy to improve its financial structure.
